To ensure your dog or cat always has access to clear, fresh, and impurity-free water, we recommend using the replacement filters specifically designed for the Astra pet water fountain. With their advanced design, these filters maintain the highest levels of hygiene and water quality, promoting the well-being and health of your pets.

The filter cartridges offer a triple filtration system, engineered to remove impurities, odours, and unwanted residues from the water. The non-woven fabric acts as the first filtration layer, capturing debris and dirt particles. Ion exchange resins reduce calcium content in the water, preventing limescale build-up and improving overall water quality. Activated carbon neutralises unpleasant odours and substances that could alter the water’s taste, ensuring it is always appealing for your dog or cat.

To maintain the proper functioning of the fountain and keep the water clean, it is recommended to replace the filter every two weeks or when the water flow decreases noticeably. If you have two or more pets, more frequent replacement may be necessary. Additionally, regular cleaning of the fountain is advised to remove any residues and preserve the systems efficiency.

The kit includes three replacement filters, providing up to six weeks of continuous use (depending on the number of pets and usage conditions). The intuitive design of the filters makes them easy to install, simplifying the maintenance of your Astra fountain.
